Here is some great tips to help find your vendors at the upcoming wedding shows!

The culture has been just grabbing brochures and getting lost in the massive hall. Then you get home and you are overwhelmed with all the brochures and sorting thru to try to remember what vendors you liked and maybe liked!

Here is some tips:

Tip #1: Decide which vendors you need- Whether you just started planning or you are finalizing the last details, you can find all of your wedding planning needs at Bridal Show. Our first tip for all our couples is to decide which vendors you have already booked and which you are still in need of before coming to the show. This will allow you to spend all of your valuable time with wedding professionals who you really want to connect with, instead of wasting your time with vendors whose services you have already booked.

Tip #2: Know what is important to you when picking a vendor- The Bridal Show is filled with talented and creative vendors that provide a variety of wedding services, and there are also a number of wedding professionals in each individual category to ensure you find the one that is perfect for you. Our second tip for you is to know what you think is important when choosing a wedding vendor. Is it familiarity with your venue? That their price is within your budget? That you establish a connect and relationship with them? How much creativity they bring to the table? Making this decision beforehand will help you to determine who you would like to meet with after the show, and which vendors are not a good fit.

Tip #3: Bring pictures of what you like- Even if you have not picked your date or venue, having pictures of what you are going for is our third tip. Having pictures of what you and your fiance like will give vendors an idea of what theme you are going for and if they are the right vendor to make all of your wedding visions a reality. The right vendor, after seeing your pictures, will be able to give you recommendations, show work that is similar to what you are going for, and come up with creative ideas to make sure that you and your fiance get the wedding that you deserve.

Tip #4: Be Prepared To Communicate- The vendors that you meet with and build a genuine connection with are going to be excited about collaborating together to make all of your wedding visions a reality. In order to move forward, they are going to schedule a consultation to get to know you outside of the bridal show scene, or will follow up with you in the days after the show. If between the time that you met with them and when they follow up you have already found another vendor or are no longer interested, LET THEM KNOW! They will appreciate your honest and it will save you from getting multiple e-mails from a vendor that you are not interested in.

Tip #5: Get involved in the whole experience- Aside from talking to wedding vendors, there are other elements of the show that will help you on your way to your dream wedding. Take pictures in the photo booths so that you can experience what your guests will experience if you book that company.

For myself....stop by and take some time to talk to your vendor.  See how they are with you and you with them! IF you feel they might be a great fit, set up a consultation to go over things further! Do not be afraid to book at the show either! Thats why you are there! This is your chance to get the vendor before they book up! And even if you are not sure about your wedding date or details, meeting with them might answer questions that they bring up!

I believe the best value I have to bring to looking for a Wedding Photographer is that I can help coach you thru the experiance! Whether you book with me or not, the outlook on your day can be clearer with someone like me that has been doing this fulltime for the past 12 years!

Enjoy the process!
